Ryan J. Koss

Ryan J. Koss, a partner with Starr, Butler & Stoner, PLLC, focuses his practice on the defense of employment claims, representing employers against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. He also practices in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability, and general litigation.

Ryan received his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2015. During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams. He also worked as a judicial intern for Honorable David M. Lawson with the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and served as a Student Attorney with Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer. Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in 2012, magna cum laude. After law school, he worked at a Detroit-area litigation defense firm where he participated in a variety of cases involving commercial disputes, contractual claims, and general negligence claims.
