Thomas A. Schramm is a Partner with Starr, Butler, Alexopolous & Stoner, PLLC, and an experienced litigator and counselor. Mr. Schramm concentrates his practice on the defense of labor and employment law, representing employers in state court, federal court, and before administrative tribunals on claims of whistleblower, discrimination, harassment, disability, trade secrets, covenants not to compete, wage and hour, commissions, and unfair labor practices. In addition, he has drafted handbooks, contracts, policies and conducted workplace investigations and training for employers. Mr. Schramm also practices in the areas of professional liability, appeals and general litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schramm worked for more than a decade and gained considerable experience at a Detroit-based firm specializing in labor and employment defense.
Mr. Schramm earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1995, and his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1999. While in law school, he was a member of the Student Trial Advocacy Program, and a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Mr. Schramm also served as an intern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and for United States District Court Judge Avern Cohn.
