Kathryn E. Jones, an associate attorney with Starr, Butler, Alexopoulos & Stoner, PLLC, focuses her practice on the defense of employment claims, representing employers against discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims. She also practices in the areas of professional liability, commercial litigation and general litigation.

After law school, Ms. Jones worked at a small boutique law firm where her practice concentrated on the representation of private and public sector employers in labor and employment matters. Ms. Jones has experience in counseling employers on all aspects of employment law, including hiring practices, terminations, discipline, employment agreements, as well as employment policies and procedures.

Ms. Jones received her law degree from the Wayne State University Law School in 2011. While in law school, she served as the Brief Writer for Wayne Law's Moot Court National Team. Ms. Jones graduated with honors from Michigan State University's James Madison College in 2008, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Relations and Policy.
